All Pros are rated for a quality score on a variety of factors. We have high retention versus industry averages, so remember the "bar is high". So an average retaining Pro for TIDY would likely be near the top of another service/platform. If a Pro performs consistently poorly, they are decertified and are no longer bookable. Our goal is always to ensure only true bona-fide professionals can use the software, never any "gig" workers.
All Pros must pass a rigorous certification process that typically includes:
- Federal background check
- County background check
- Sex offender check
- Terrorist watchlist check
- Document verification
- Social Security Number check
- An equipment certification
- A phone certification
- A series of other proprietary checks designed to ensure they meet minimum requirements.
A very low percentage of people make their way through the process.
The inputs into a Pros rated quality score include things like:
- A Pro's client retention rate (or the "rate at which clients want them back").
- A Pro's customer feedback.
However, its also true that ratings are not the only factor. Home cleanings have a lot of personal preferences. You may prefer someone with a lower rating OVER someone with a higher one. It happens all the time! For example, some people like to chat with their Pros, some don't. Some people prefer someone willing to use deeper cleaning materials, some prefer very safe and green items.
When you see a timeslot's rating in the app, you are seeing basically the relative estimated rating for that timeslot accounting for the Pro's rating.
