TIDY has two basic ways of booking a cleaning:
1) Book a confirmed time
You can book a confirmed time for tomorrow or later. In this case you are confirmed with a Homekeeper for that time the moment you book. You’ll see all of our availability online for confirmed times, so if you don’t see the time you want then we do not have a Homekeeper available at that time. Note that you’ll want to click “More Times” then filter by “All Homekeepers” in the page to choose your cleaning to view all of our availability.
Also note that we allow booking up to 3 weeks out, and Homekeeper availability is constantly changing so you can check back if you don’t see the time you want.
2) Request a same day cleaning
Requesting a same day cleaning sends a message to Homekeepeers who can help you, asking them to accept one of your requested times. This is successful about 60% of the time on average.
Request a same day cleaning (at additional cost) by selecting the “one time” frequency in any booking view and clicking “Request Cleaning for Today”. If you had a confirmed appointment, and the Homkeeper had to cancel, you can request a same day cleaning at no fee by tapping "Request a substitute" on the update that appears on the cancelled cleaning. There is no additional fees for requesting a substitute.
When requesting a same day cleaning or substitute, you can select all the times you are available and we will message Homekeepers in your area to see if they are available for one of those times. If someone accepts we let you know right away, or if no one accepts we’ll let you know 30m before the last requested time. Homekeepers tend to accept around 60% of the time for last.
The best way to increase the odds that someone accepts your same day cleaning request is to request as many times as you are available.
